My dog opens the big one and the cat can open the small one. Yes they are SMART. But,otherwise i love them. i will be purchasing more. Very handy to have. When i'm cooking it is sooooo handy to have. Hands FREE. THAT IS WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT.
